Serum self tanner

As a beauty professional with years of experience in skincare and makeup one thing is for certain - protecting your skin is in and tanning beds are out… what a shift and what a relief. As a woman of a certain age (nearing 40) I remember vividly the crazy for tanning beds - the little stickers girls ...would put on their hip or elsewhere on their body to keep track of their tan… but oh the damage it does! I am a big supporter of SPF as the first and foremost skincare and anti aging product… if you have to have a one and only its SPF. But… how do you protect your skin and still get that healthy beach bunny bronze glow? Well, self tanners of course. I have had the chance to try out a handful of different self tanning products throughout my life and while I don't use them all the time I do like to use them on vacation or before an event. SUNEE BAESKIN is a new line for me to try out and I would definitely label them in the affordable luxe level. The SEArum Drops are a product type I am familiar with and love to use - while I don't care so much about a body tan I do love the look of a healthy tan glow on the face/neck/chest. I like that you can apply this product alone as a serum or added into your existing routine. This is a buildable product and I suggest applying at night so you will wake up with your tanned complexion rather than have your skin change during the day. If you want to maintain your tan you can apply this product every 3-4 or so days, if you want to gradually increase your skin shade you can apply this nightly. I like this product because it is a light change and you can still wear your regular shade of makeup or spf products and not have to worry about it being too light - especially with more universal products like tinted spfs - if anything I find it makes them match better. I really like the ingredients used in this product as well - many natural ingredients and things that will improve your skins health as well as protect it. I did notice a slight fragrance to this product but I do not see any fragrant ingredients so it must come from something like a natural oil in it. The biggest thing with this product and products like it is to make sure you wash… no scrub, your hands after applying because it will give you a funky tan to your hands. I will also note depending on your skincare routine and exfoliation used that will change the longevity of your tan. Overall I recommend this to anyone looking to add a healthy summer glow to their skin while also being conscious of the ingredients and benefits to you.
